Job Responsibilities

  • Prototype assemblies and processes
  • Develop, document and maintain manufacturing procedures
  • Improves production efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Migrate designs from prototype to production stage by training and providing supervision over operators
  • Collect production data and evaluate manufacturing processes
  • Maintain inventory of layup supplies and raw materials by creating POs, Receiving Logs and receiving instructions
  • Research and stay current with relevant technical knowledge

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5 CAD suite, solid modelling and surface modelling
  • Familiar with composite layup, open and closed molding
  • Desire to create, iterate and distribute manufacturing procedures
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good craftsmanship
  • Work experience in aerospace or composite manufacturing
  • Familiarity with PLM, ERP, MES
